Will you be listing my house on the MLS or actually buying it?
We are the buyer. We buy directly from homeowners for cash, we do not list your house like an agent. In some situations where a traditional listing would put more money in your pocket, we can introduce you to a trusted local agent instead.
Do you pay fair prices for properties?
Yes. We buy below full “retail” because we’re purchasing your house in its current “as-is” condition and covering the costs and risk of repairs, showings, and holding the property. In exchange, you get speed, certainty, and no out-of-pocket expenses or hassles.
How do you determine the price you offer on my house?
We look at similar homes that have recently sold in your area, estimate what your house would be worth after repairs, subtract the repair costs and our holding costs, and then back into a number that makes sense for both you and us. We’ll walk you through the numbers so you can see exactly how we arrived at our offer.
Are there any fees or commissions to work with you?
No. There are no fees, no commissions, and we pay the standard closing costs. The price we agree on is what you walk away with at closing, minus any existing loans, taxes, or liens on the property.
How fast can you close?
We can close very quickly. In many cases we close in as little as 7–14 days, and when everything lines up and title is clear, we’ve closed in as fast as 24–48 hours. Your exact timing will depend on your situation and how fast the closing attorney can process the paperwork.
What if my foreclosure sale is in 2 weeks?
Reach out immediately. If there’s enough time and the numbers work, we can often step in, work with the attorney, and close fast enough to stop the sale. We’ve successfully stopped foreclosures the very same day before, but the sooner you contact us, the better your options.
Do I have to be at the closing?
No. We can arrange a remote/mail-away closing or mobile notary so you can sign from wherever you are, as long as it complies with North Carolina closing laws.
What if I change my mind after I contact you?
Contacting us and getting an offer is 100% free and no obligation. If you decide not to move forward before signing, you can simply walk away. If you’ve already signed a contract, we’ll explain exactly where you are in the process and what your options are. We don’t pressure people into sales.
Is there any obligation when I submit my info?
No. Telling us about your property and getting an offer is completely free and comes with zero obligation.
What areas of NC do you serve?
We buy houses in all counties across North Carolina.
When do I have to move out?
In most cases, your belongings need to be removed and the property fully vacated by the time of closing so you can get paid without delays. If you need a little extra time, let us know up front and we’ll see what we can work out in writing.
